Method Man Writes “Ghost Rider” Christmas Comic For Marvel

METHOD MAN PENS CHRISTMAS COMIC FOR MARVEL

(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang Clan rapper Method Man has written a special Christmas edition of Marvel’s “Ghost Rider” comic book.

The comic, released yesterday (December 16), has illustrations by co-writer Anthony Piper and will feature Roberto ‘Robbie’ Reyes, the latest iteration of the “Ghost Rider” character, a demonic being capable of firing hellfire from his body.

Method Man has a connection to “Ghost Rider,” as he has used the alter ego Johnny Blaze, the same name as a previous version of the comic’s fiery hero.

A synopsis on the Marvel Comics website reads, “Robbie Reyes’ little brother Gabe is getting teased in school for having too much Christmas spirit! The kids of East L.A. (Los Angeles) are less than excited about Santa Claus’ impending visit, making them the perfect victims for the evil KRAMPUS!”

Bosses at Marvel also announced on Wednesday three special edition covers for some of their most popular comic books based on album covers by Hip-Hop stars Kanye West, Jay Z and Vic Mensa.

The cover of “Mighty Captain Marvel” has been re-imagined in the style of Kanye’s The Life of Pablo, while the “Elektra” comic has received a makeover in the style of Jay’s 2007 record American Gangster.

Vic’s 2016 album There’s Alot Going On forms the basis for a new cover of the “Bullseye” comic.
