Cee Lo Green has come forward to let his fans know he is ok, after a shocking video of his cellphone exploding hit the internet.

Earlier today (December 17th), surveillance footage from a recording studio featured Cee Lo Green talking on a smartphone.

The device exploded next to his head shortly thereafter.

The blast knocked CeeLo to the floor, where he laid motionless for a few minutes, sparking speculation about his health.

“I just want to let everybody know that I am alive, I am well, and I am ok” Cee Lo Green said in a chat on Facebook Live tonight (December 17th).

“Truthfully I’m really upset that anybody had to be emotionally disturbed by what they saw today,” Cee Lo said.

“Actually, what you saw today was a clip from a smaller video that we was shooting a new project I’m doing called Gnarly Davidson.”

Although he was vague, Cee Lo said the clip was supposed to set up the new character and identity for the Gnarls Davidson project.

Cee Lo seemed genuinely upset for the panic he caused.

“Please forgive me y’all,” the rapper said clearing his throat. “I’m still going to release the music though, but first and foremost for everybody that loves me and cares about me, I just want to let y’all know that I’m ok.”
