According to Billboard, “One Dance” is the first song to earn 1 billion plays on Spotify.

The single – which features Wizkid and Kyla – spent 9 weeks atop the Hot 100 chart.

In addition, Drake was named Spotify’s most streamed male artist of 2016.

The OVO founder dominated the year-end numbers on Apple Music as well.

Drake’s new “One Dance” record for Spotify is the latest major feat connected to his fourth studio album Views.

The LP has also been certified 4-times platinum by the RIAA.
