There Is A Rapper Among The Four Suspects Accused Of Hate Crimes Over Brutal Torture Video

ONE OF THE TORTURERS WAS A “RAPPER”

(AllHipHop News) One of the suspects who tortured a mentally disabled white teen in a Facebook Live video is a rapper, who goes by the name of PBG Hothead, it turns out.

Tesfaye Cooper, 18, is one of the four suspects charged with the gruesome crime.

The harrowing incident started on Saturday (December 31, 2016), after the suspects picked up the unidentified teen, whom they knew through school.

The victim, who thought he was going to a sleepover, was instead driven around Chicago and was held and tortured for several days.

The suspects then broadcast portions of the assault on Facebook Live.

The PBG in Cooper’s name is a reference to the Pooh Bear Gang, which was associated with slain rapper Young Pappy, according to Chicago’s DNAInfo.

Young Pappy, who was gunned down in 2015, often threatened his rivals with YouTube videos.

Pappy, born, Shaquon Thomas, was killed just one day after taunting a rival gang online.

The cops accused Young Pappy of being involved in a violent wave of crime on Chicago’s North side in the years before he was killed.

Cooper, along with Tanishia Covington, 24, and her 18-year-old sister Brittany were in court today (January 6), along with 18-year-old Jordan Hill.

All four have been charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery and a slew of other charges and are being held without bail.
