DRAKE, LUPE, BIG SEAN IN THE HEADLINES!

Rapper Drake is going to host and produce the NBA Awards later this year, according to reports. Drake was a guest on the University of Kentucky podcast, “Calcast,” which is hosted by coach John Calipari. Although Drake didn’t reveal too much detail, the rapper anticipated having a lot of freedom to produce the upcoming awards, which are slated to take place in June.

Grammy Award winning rapper Lupe Fiasco premiered a new track on Beats 1 today. Lupe dropped his new song, “Tranquillo,” featuring Rick Ross and Big K.R.I.T. The new single is taken from Lupe’s upcoming album, DROGAS Light, which is due for release on February 10th via Lupe’s 1st and 15th record label. Click here to take a listen to the track.

​Detroit rapper Big Sean will celebrate the release of his upcoming album, I Decided, in Las Vegas this weekend. Big Sean is slated to perform at Drai’s nightclub atop the Cromwell in Las Vegas, where the official launch party will go down on the rooftop of the club. Big Sean has already released the singles, “Bounce Back” and “Moves” from the new album, which will also feature guest appearances from Eminem and Chance the Rapper.
