"Uber Everywhere" Rapper MadeinTYO Rides For Lyft After #DeleteUber Trends

(AllHipHop News) Donald Trump’s controversial immigration executive order has been the most talked about topic in America over the last few days.

Even several companies have weighed in on the issue.

Uber was hit with complaints when the transportation service chose to continue offering rides during the New York City Taxi Worker’s strike to protest Trump’s so-called “Muslim Ban.”

#DeleteUber began trending on social media as a way to protest the San Francisco-based business.

Atlanta rapper MadeinTYO became famous thanks in part to his single “Uber Everywhere.”

However, the man born Malcolm Davis is apparently changing his hit record to reflect his position on Trump’s executive order.

“usta uber a lot, not no moeeee,” posted MadeinTYO on Twitter. “2017: [Lyft] everywhere.”

Lyft co-founders Logan Green and John Zimmer issued a statement condemning the Trump Administration’s new immigration policy which bars entry into the United States for individuals from seven Muslim-majority countries.

The company also pledged to donate $1 million to the ACLU over the next four years.

Uber CEO Travis Kalanick later vowed to set up a $3 million legal defense fund for drivers affected by Trump’s ban.
