Anderson .Paak’s Captures “Music’s Undeniable Force” In New Gospel Video

(AllHipHop News) Grammy nominated rapper Anderson .Paak is has teamed the Grammys in a new film, promoting the power of music.

Anderson, who started his career as a drummer in a gospel choir, is featured performing his hit song “Come Down” in a church.

The flick was directed by J’rese Mitchell, and features family members and friends of Anderson’s, who grew up with him in his hometown of Oxnard, California.

“Our intention with this year’s brand campaign is to highlight the inspirational and motivational power of music and his positive impact in light of the challenging times that we face,” said Evan Greene, Chief Marketing Officer of the Recording Academy. “This latest spot in the series captures music undeniable force to connect us and bind us together through a shared, collective community. The Recording Academy strives to reinforce music’s ability to unify, and this film serves to powerfully amplify this message.”

Others featured in the video include Anderson’s sister Camille, and his six-year-old son Soul.

Anderson .Paak will perform at this year’s Grammy awards with A Tribe Called Quest on Sunday, February 12.
