Promoter Says Young Thug Had No Reason To Ditch Show And Sues For $300K

YOUNG THUG SUED OVER CONCERT!

(AllHipHop News) A promoter is suing Young Thug, claiming that the Atlanta rapper botched a show, which ended up costing him hundreds of thousands of dollars.

A concert organizer named Nicholas Fitts filed the lawsuit in Cobb County, Georgia court claiming the rapper skipped out on a concert in August.

According to the lawsuit, Young Thug had signed a $55,000 contract for the concert, which was supposed to take place at Sahlen’s Stadium in Rochester, New York.

Apparently, Young Thug skipped the show with no “valid legal reason” and caused the promoter to lose over $200,000 in ticket sales, in addition to the $57,000 he spent in marketing and promotional costs.

All told, the promoter is seeking over $360,000 from Young Thug and his company YSL Enterprises.

Young Thug has faced several legal challenges over the past 12 months.

In December of 2016, he was hit with a lawsuit from a limousine company for failing to pay almost $20,000 in outstanding bills.
In May, Thug was also sued by an online hip-hop merchandiser who claimed they paid the rapper a $5,000 down payment for a track, but the rapper never delivered his verse.
