Mannie Fresh Talks Making EDM Music With Lil Wayne & Possible Cash Money/Ruff Ryders Reunion Tour (VIDEO)

THE SUPER-PRODUCER WANTS TO BRING THE CREW BACK TOGETHER

(AllHipHop News) Could a full Cash Money reunion be in the works?

Super-producer Mannie Fresh would like to see that happen.

Fresh spoke with HipHopDX about his personal intent to bring Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk, and Birdman back together for another run.

“The invitation has been reached out to Wayne,” said Fresh. “I’m not gonna say that he’s gonna do it, but it has been there because everybody know him and Baby got legal battles or whatever, but I’m truly hoping that we can just leave that part of it out of it and just give the people that grew up on us something legendary.”

The three-decade industry veteran wants to bring the original Ruff Ryder crew along as well.

“We gotta get DMX. We gotta call Swizz [Beatz], we gotta get people like that,” said Fresh. “It’s one of them things that we gotta get the people who grew up in that era on this tour.”

The people who grew up listening to Ruff Ryders and Cash Money likely remember Mannie Fresh’s extensive work with Wayne.

According to the onetime Big Tymers member, his latest efforts with Wayne include EDM tracks.

“I got a couple of EDM songs with Wayne,” stated Fresh. “When I say EDM it’s not fist-pump EDM. It’s more of what I did. I kind of think even EDM trap is in an extension of what Mannie Fresh did. My EDM is more of, like Future trap, but it’s different from just how a Hip Hop song would sound.”
