Master P. Vs. Nick Cannon, Brian Michael-Cox’s “Breakfast Club,” De La Soul Tours The U.K.

MASTER P. AND NICK CANNON, BRIAN MICHAEL-COX AND DE LA SOUL HIT THE NEWS!

Master P and his son Romeo Miller will face-off against Nick Cannon and Hot 97 host Peter Rosenberg during the 2017 NBA All-Star Celebrity Basketball game. Actor Miles Brown will coach Master P and other players on the West like Baron Davis, Candace Parker, and Mark Cuban. Jemele Hill will coach the East, which includes rapper/actor Nick Cannon, Peter Rosenberg, and NBA legend Jason Williams. The game will be televised live on Friday, February 17 at 7:00PM ET, from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Super Producer Brian Michael-Cox is joining forces with Toyota to host the annual “Breakfast Club” brunch in Los Angeles during Grammy Award weekend. The event is labeled as a party with a purpose, and honors groundbreaking musicians in support of the Music & Memory Foundation. The nonprofit helps people with cognitive and physical challenges overcome their disabilities using the healing powers of music. During the festivities, Brian Michael-Cox and Toyota will donate a $10,000 check to the Music & Memory Foundation. “At Toyota, we feel the gift to Music & Memory is a special way to ensure the celebration of music has a lasting and positive impact on the health and lives of these patients,” said Toyota’s National Marketing Manager, Mia Phillips. The “Breakfast Club” brunch will take place on February 12th and will live stream beginning at 2:30PM with Hip-Hop veteran Sway Calloway serving at the host, on the Toyota Showcase Facebook page.

Revered rap trio De La Soul has announced a full tour of the United Kingdom starting this month. The legendary group will hit the road starting on February 22 in Newcastle, before running through six more dates throughout the country. Their outing will wind down on March 10th London, where the group will be backed by a full band. De La Soul is on tour in support of their album And the Anonymous Nobody, which has earned a Grammy nomination for this year.
