(AllHipHop Rumors) Well it looks like YG actually did receive ALL of his coins!

Last week there were reports that YG had allegedly breached his $60k contract with San Diego State University, after the rapper performed his anti-Trump anthem, “F-ck Donald Trump.”

Well a San Diego State University rep. has now spoken out to clear YG and the air on the situation.

YG actually reportedly received payment for the full contracted amount because the university never banned “F-ck Donald Trump” contractually. The spokesperson told SPIN,

“During booking discussions with Live Nation, the student Greenfest committee that selected the artist and planned the GreenFest concert requested that YG not perform his song, “FDT”. The student Greenfest Committee was advised that an artist can be asked, but that there is a possibility that the artist will still play the song. On the night of the concert, YG indicated that he wanted to play the song “FDT” even though he had been asked not to by associated students. As indicated that payment would not be withheld if he played the song. YG was paid his full $60,000 fee for performing at Greenfest.”

Apparently it was the students and their tweets that started the rumor that YG had broken his contract in the first place. Well it looks like YG took home the bag after all, but some people are still claiming that he lost out on an amount or the whole check. Carry on.
