(AllHipHop News) The Hip Hop world lost one of its most prominent tastemakers when WorldStarHipHop.com founder Lee “Q” O’Denat passed away earlier this year.
The Los Angeles Times is now reporting the cause of death.
According to the San Diego County medical examiner’s autopsy report, Q died of natural causes from a severe buildup of plaque near his heart and morbid obesity.
His sister told authorities O’Denat had an unspecified heart problem and was taking medication for the illness.
A toxicology test revealed no drugs or alcohol – besides marijuana – were detected in his body.
Q died at a San Diego massage parlor on January 23.
Paramedics attempted to revive him with CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the VIP Spa.
Lee “Q” O’Denat was 43.
The WSHH frontman is said to be survived by three children.
We ask that you remember Q in your prayers and raise a toast to the sky in his name. RIP 🙏 pic.twitter.com/ixsULQil32
