(AllHipHop News) TDE emcee Kendrick Lamar is on pace to have the biggest first-week sales of his career.
HitsDailyDouble predicts Kendrick’s DAMN will collect between 460,000 and 485,000 equivalent album units.
If the range holds up, DAMN will surpass the 363,000 opening numbers for 2015’s To Pimp A Butterfly.
Kendrick will also be the only artist besides Drake to total more than 200 million streams for an album in a single week, according to HDD.
In addition, the critical response to Lamar’s fourth studio album has been overwhelmingly positive so far.
