Big Sean Pays Homage To Lil Wayne: You Changed Rap Forever

SEAN SHOWS LOVE TO HIS “DEEP” COLLABORATOR

(AllHipHop News) Big Sean took the time to pay homage to Young Money head Lil Wayne.

In an Instagram message posted over the weekend, the Detroit native reflected on Weezy rapping “I feel like Sean, don’t get enough shine” on “Deep” off Dark Sky Paradise.

“Man I’ll never forget what u said bout me on my song ‘Deep’ bro on some real sh-t. U changed rap 4ever, God bless you! #C5,” wrote the Detroit native.

Other Hip Hop veterans have shown love to Wayne in recent months.

On his own IG post in March, Rick Ross expressed his “level of respect and love” for Weezy.

Wayne also got a major co-sign from Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon.

“He’s a legend in my eyes,” Rae told AllHipHop.com about his “My Corner” collaborator.

Lil Wayne and Big Sean have teamed up on more music besides “Deep.”

They both appeared together on the songs “Beware” and “My Homies Still” as well as DJ Khaled’s “How Many Times,” DJ Mustard’s “Face Down,” and The Game’s “All That (Lady).”
