(AllHipHop News) News broke yesterday that Kanye West was working on a new album at a retreat located on a Wyoming mountain.
TMZ caught up with Ye’s longtime musical partner Common to ask the Oscar winner about the move by the G.O.O.D. Music founder.
“For me, it’s like whatever an artist needs to do to create their best thing, then that’s what they need to do,” said Common. “Luckily, he’s got an incredible family, so they understand he’s an artist.”
The Hip Hop vet added, “It’s dope. I’m geeked that he’s doing an album. We need that.”
