Previously, Bey performed at The John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC as part of his final shows in America.

Every year ONE Musicfest presents both legendary entertainers and rising talent.

The 2016 edition included a Dungeon Family reunion as well as sets by Ice Cube, Erykah Badu, A$AP Ferg, Busta Rhymes, Anderson .Paak, and BJ The Chicago Kid.

Besides Yasiin Bey, the 8th annual extravaganza will also feature Jill Scott, Damian Marley, Too $hort, Jidenna, Sean Paul, Tank, and other acts.

“So many times you turn on the news, and Hip Hop is getting a bad rap. But when you walk onto the field of ONE Musicfest, it gives you what you know about your culture, your music, and your people,” OMF founder Jason Carter told AllHipHop.com. “It’s a great representation of our culture and the way we should be presented.”
