Nicki Minaj Says Her New Album Will Be “Classic Hip-Hop”

NICKI MINAJ IS PLANNING TO RELEASE A CLASSIC HIP-HOP ALBUM

(AllHipHop News) Nicki Minaj maybe in an ongoing battle with Remy Ma, but she is more “centered” than ever.

Whoo Kid conducted an interview with Nicki earlier this month for his “Whoolywood Shuffle” Shade 45 radio show and he just released the full version of his conversation with Nicki today (June 12).

The rap star discussed her upcoming album, which will feature Lil Wayne and Drake, in addition to her dream of collaborating with Eminem and Dr. Dre on one song.

During the interview with Whoo Kid, Nicki Minaj detailed the inspiration for her upcoming fourth album, which is the follow-up to 2014’s The Pinkprint.

According to Nicki, she’s working on a “classic hip-hop album people will never forget.”

“My goal right now is just releasing this fourth album and watching my fans react to it,” Nicki explained. “I know it’s going to be my best body of work.”

Nicki may have just been dissed at Hot 97’s Summer Jam by her rival, but judging by this interview, which was conducted before Remy’s latest onstage diss, Nicki doesn’t seem to be concerned,

According to Nicki, her new album is all about impressing her fans.

“I always loved in real-time see my fans reacting to something and so that’s what I’m looking forward to,” Nicki said. “I want to thank the people who rocked with me for all these years. My fans are a different level of diehard. So I always feel like I have to gotta make them proud, I gotta go hard, I gotta to impress them. They’re always waiting for me.”

Nicki’s fourth album has no release date as of press time.
