R. Kelly’s Alleged Captive Addresses Reports Of Being Part Of A Sex “Cult”

“I AM TOTALLY FINE”

(AllHipHop News) Yesterday, the internet exploded over news R. Kelly is reportedly running a sex “cult” by controlling several young women.

A woman alleged to be a captive of Kelly spoke out with TMZ.

“I am in a happy place in my life, and I’m not being brainwashed or anything like that,” says the woman.

The 21-year-old’s mother and father have been attempting to get in contact with her, and they claim Kelly is preventing her from speaking with her family.

“I just want everybody to know, my parents and everybody in the world, that I am totally fine. I’m happy where I’m at, and everything is okay with me,” she added. “I’ve never been held hostage or anything of that nature.”

She also acknowledged she has not spoken to her parents in about five to six months.

When asked if she is able to leave from Kelly, she refused to answer.

The R&B singer’s lawyer addressed the situation:

We can only wonder why folks would persist in defaming a great artist who loves his fans, works 24/7, and takes care of all of the people in his life. He works hard to become the best person and artist he can be. It is interesting that stories and tales debunked many years ago turn up when his goal is to stop the violence; put down the guns; and embrace peace and love. I suppose that is the price of fame. Like all of us, Mr. Kelly deserves a personal life. Please respect that.
