Puma Renews Partnership As Official Footwear Sponsor Of ComplexCon Hosted By Pharrell & More

DAVE EAST, ASAP TWELVYY & SONNY DIGITAL ARE SCHEDULED TO APPEAR AT THE EVENT

(AllHipHop News) After serving as a sponsor for the inaugural ComplexCon in 2016, Puma is returning as the official footwear for the 2017 edition of the festival.

The brand will also use the California event to tease the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Classic Puma Suede and launch new select styles of Run The Streets.

“Puma is thrilled to be the second year footwear partner at ComplexCon. We were blown away last year and are thrilled to be at it again,” says Allison Giorgio, Vice President, Marketing for PUMA North America. “We knew instantly that ComplexCon was a perfect place to be part of a conversation celebrating fashion, culture, and music and are excited to involve our consumers and ComplexCon visitors in a fun new way.”

Details surrounding Puma’s pop-up booth, merchandise, and other special announcements will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Appearances by Hip Hop acts Dave East, ASAP Twelvyy, and Sonny Digital are already expected to take place.

Previously, Puma teamed with Complex to feature Dave East in the Puma Tsugi franchise campaign, a street running sneaker anchored by brand ambassador The Weeknd.

The second annual ComplexCon is scheduled for November 4-5 in Long Beach.

Pharrell Williams, Takashi Murakami, Virgil Abloh, and Sarah Andelman were tapped to serve as official hosts for the festival.

ComplexCon mixes music performances, retail pop-up shops, video production studios, panels, art, food, brand activations, interactive technology, and more.
