The Weeknd’s ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’ Has Spent 100 Straight Weeks On The Album Chart

“THE HILLS” SINGER REACHES A MAJOR MILESTONE

(AllHipHop News) For the week ending July 27, The Weeknd’s Starboy sits at #31 on the Billboard 200.

That is an impressive commercial achievement for a project released eight months ago.

What is even more remarkable is the fact that his previous effort, Beauty Behind the Madness, is still in the Top 100.

Billboard reports the current #76 position for Beauty means the LP has spent 100 consecutive weeks on the chart.

Since its August 2015 release, the Weeknd’s second studio album has collected 3.7 million equivalent album units and 2.05 billion on-demand audio song streams.

Four singles from Beauty Behind the Madness – “Earned It,” “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” and “In The Night” – broke into the Top 20 on the Hot 100 chart.

“The Hills” spent six consecutive weeks at number one, and “Can’t Feel My Face” stayed in the leading spot for three non-consecutive weeks.
