(AllHipHop News) Earlier this year, news was revealed of Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s estate releasing his own cryptocurrency.
Now, the Dirty Coin, aimed to fund music projects and other ventures will launch on Tuesday, October 23rd.
The late rapper’s son Bar-Sun Jones, aka Young Dirty Bastard, states, “Crypto is very big. The blockchain is one of the biggest inventions of our time. And I don’t want to be out of the party, I want to come into the party.”
The ODB Estate will begin by using the coins to fund Young Dirty’s forthcoming album.
“I have a passion for capital," Young Dirty said, stating that his goal is to have fans use Dirty Coins to pay for Dirty-related concerts, merch, music, and even possibly books and video games.
There will also be some Wu-Tang/Young Dirty celebrations in New York City to commemorate what would have been ODB’s 50th birthday on November 15.

Nobody knows who Ol' Dirty Bastard is. Wu Tang was a o.k. group not really popular or left a legacy like N.W.A. Who would waste their money buyin Ol' Dirty coins. I got better things to do with my money and time.
