(AllHipHop Features) Ebro Darden’s name rings bells in the halls of Hip-Hop, radio and business. He helms the Ebro In The Morning on Hot 97, and is the former programming director of the radio monolith.
Hot 97’s Summer Jam turns 25 years old this year, in an incredible feat of longevity for a single entity. Ebro discusses a myriad of matters related to the brand, including Jay-Z’s unveiling of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, stopping Nas from mock-lynching Jay-Z and 50 Cent battling fans. More importantly, he talks about how the brand has adjusted the approach in light of those moments.
This year, Summer Jam takes place at the Met Life Stadium on June 10th with an incredible line up including headliner Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, A$AP Ferg, Tory Lanez, Swizz Beatz & Friends, Remy Ma, Rich the Kid, DJ Megan Ryte & Friends, A Boogie, Hood Celebrityy and more for the main stage. Also, Famous Dex, Jay Critch, Don Q and Snoopy Dinero will perform at the Festival Stage.
