(AllHipHop Features) Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and rap superstar and entrepreneur Jeezy joined 60,000 runners and walkers for the largest 10K in the world, the 49th annual AJC Peachtree Road Race.
Jeezy ran with Mayor Bottoms to raise money for youth via his Street Dreamz Foundation, the Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Program and Atlanta Track Club’s Kilometer Kids program.
Jeezy admitted that this was his first 10k race, and he made it all the way through in an hour.
The Atlanta rapper took time out to take pictures with fans who cheered him on as he crossed the finish line.
After the race, Jeezy and Mayor Bottoms hosted a “Rehydrate Center” sponsored by Defiance Fuel at Bar Amalfi as a celebration of the completion of the race.
