AllHipHop caught up with ASCAP Award-winner PnB Rock to discuss his forthcoming album, losing XXXTentacion and more.
AllHipHop: With you being in the studio locked in, what's coming next?
PnB Rock: I'm working on my album. 'TrapStar Turnt PopStar'. I put my all into this album, got a whole bunch of big features. I'm just ready for it to come out. Be looking for it like September/October. Yeah back to school.
AllHipHop: Who are the features and producers?
PnB Rock: Aww man so many features. Tee Grizzley, uh Trey Songz..... I don't want to say it because I can't say it. It's a little secret on that one. Of course I got my brother XXX on there.
AllHipHop: How did it feel to lose him (XXXTentacion)? With Hip Hop, over the course of the years we've seen different violent unfortunate incidents, so how did it feel to lose him?
PnB Rock: Ah man it was crazy losing him, you know what I'm saying. It was just like unexpected you know. Anytime somebody dies it's unexpected especially when it's of that nature. Rest in peace to my brother though. He wouldn't want nobody to be sad or sit here down. He would want us like more up and repping his name; making sure his message lives on. Dat way.
