When it was time for Ross to perform an announcement was made that the Mastermind rapper did not make it into the venue. He was reportedly stopped by large group of people outside.

“We had Rick Ross right outside here tonight. At about 11 o’clock, when he was pulling up to come into Chene Park, he was met by 100 individuals outside,” 107.5’s program director Jay Hicks told the crowd. “We have tried to pull every resource together and asked him to come back. He is in fear of his life.”

HotHipHopDetroit.com reports rapper Trick Trick may have placed Ross in the “No Fly Zone” which is also the name of the Goon Sqwad member’s new single. That would mean Rozay cannot enter Detroit without the approval of Trick aka “The Mayor of Detroit.”

“[Ross] may never come back to Detroit,” Hicks added.

Rick Ross addressed not performing at Summer Jamz on Twitter.
