Lizzo to be honored by BMAC amid controversy

So Lizzo is going to be honored by the Black Music Action Coalition. Let's talk hip hop

Aight yo this is pretty dope right because Lizzo she's going to be honored at the Black Action

Music Coalition and this is going down on September 21st in LA right. It's not only

Lizzo that's going to be honored Sylvia Rhodes is going to be honored she's the CEO of Epic

Records Jermaine Dupri Kiki Palmer and Trey The Truth as well right. This is fire so we're talking

about Lizzo though because it's crazy that amid all this controversy Lizzo was still being honored

right. So you guys know the whole situation four of her dancers are suing her for sexual harassment

right. Basically they said they made them go to the strip club and touch on these male dancers

and that Lizzo made them suck on a banana while they were there and then also like the dancer

uh the the dance coach of Lizzo's team tried to make them convert to Christianity and was making

fun of them because they were having premarital sex just a whole bunch of craziness right

Um in my opinion it seems like Lizzo probably just got too close to her dancers she thought

that they were her homegirls and not her employees so they were out there doing ratchet stuff with

her ratchet friends right and then after the whole thing is over her ratchet friends was like oh hell

no we want money from Lizzo right. That's that's really what I think happened and Lizzo's counter

suing them as well right. Um so either way all that to the side it seems like the industry

themselves they're still on Lizzo's side and yeah they're moving forward with honoring her

um with the Quincy Jones award basically saying that she is somebody that contributes to

black culture right. Um so this is pretty dope shout out to Lizzo and hopefully she gets all that

other stuff sorted out with her dancers but um yeah let me know what y'all think about this in the comments
