Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky quickly set Twitter ablaze when he fulfilled the dreams of men everywhere and squeezed Rihanna’s butt at the 2012 MTV VMAs. The two were onstage performing Rihanna’s single, “Cockiness”, when A$AP Rocky finished his guest verse, came over to the Bajan singer, and grabbed a handful of her derriere.
For the first time, the rapper opens up about that moment and implies that it wasn’t planned, but was just “one of those moments.”
“It really wasn’t no idea,” he told CBS Local. “It just happened.”
So did Rihanna spazz out on him backstage after the performance? The rapper confirms that there was no major blow back from the butt squeezing, and said that he “didn’t know everyone was really talking about it.”
I guess it came natural to him.
