Andre 3000's Offers 2 Newly Released Odes To Mothers

Andre 3000 is back, but the sound is a bit different in honor of mothers all over.

(AllHipHop Music) Andre 3000 continues to toy with our emotions. The rapper/actor and free spirit has suddenly dropped a pair of songs in honor of mothers all over. The Mother's Day Anthems are called “Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)” and “Look Ma No Hands.” While the songs are dope, they are not of tunes of a Hip-Hop variety. “Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)” has a very Elton John-esque vibe, with the former OutKast rhymester singing a somber tune. “Look Ma No Hands" is a a 17-minute instrumental jazz song that offers André 3000 the clarinet and a feature appearance from James Blake. While he's no Coltrane, Three Stacks gets a big salute for expanding his excellence even beyond The Love Below, his critical acclaimed pop opus.

The songs were recorded years ago, but just released today. His mother died in 2013.
