Rapper Dizzy Wright is making a statement about the violence that has recently been plaguing the nation.
The rapper discusses institutionalized racism in the new song “They Know Why.”
The recently recorded song addresses the murders of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, and the black experience in general, in the United States.
"All I'm saying is our anger comes from a different place and I pray the world can understand that this country has always worked against us so responding with violence seems like the only way but it's not and it's up to the positive people in the world to spread that love,” Dizzy Wright
The one-off track comes on the heels of his most recently released album, 702 EP.
