In his lyrics, Ash speaks on the real ones that have held him down out the gate and have never switched up on him:
“This record means a lot to me because I went through some hard times recently and if it wasn’t for my real ones, I wouldn’t be the man I am today. I wouldn’t be as strong as I am today. And I wouldn’t be here today. And I want to dedicate this song to anybody that has been a real one for somebody else. Who’s a ride or die for their friends.”
