Following up the recently announced distribution deal with Roc Nation, Hip-hop duo Jae Mansa are excited to announce the release of their newest visual, "Yung Kingz," the title track taken from their full-length project Yung Kings.
The visual follows up the release of the group’s break-out song and visual for “Fate” that gained over 3 million plays on Spotify and has landed the duo on a host of blogs, playlists and radio stations.
"The goal behind every video we shoot is to teach, inspire or inform. I’m not talking down on nobody else, but it’s pointless to me to shoot a video just to shoot it," Jae one-half of Jae Mansa explained. "The Yung Kings video is meant to inspire our people. The message is that despite how America treats us or despite how many of us are a killed daily for no justifiable reason, you can’t erase the fact that we are descendants of KINGS. So thats what make us Yung Kings."
Bouncing off a string of shows including showcases at SXSW and opening up for for Money Bagg Yo in Savannah, GA, Jae Mansa is maturing both on stage and in the booth as they prep more visuals and new music this Summer.
"Everybody think rapping is just getting in the booth. It’s way more than that, you gotta put in that ground work going state to state, showing your face, promoting your music 24/7." Jae explained. "It’s fun at times, but it does get hard at times. Having to be out all night, then getting right back up in the AM and having to be in a whole different city. I can say now I’m used to it, but thinking it’s an easy job? You can forget about it. If we not on the road then we home we in the studio. The grind never stops!"
