Jasiri X's "The Whitest House" Is More Than A Woke Anthem

You can't complain if you aren't a part of the solution. Jasiri X is a big part of the solution America needs.

(AllHipHop Music) Jasiri X has released the much anticipated visual to his politically fueled single, The Whitest House, filmed in the country’s capital and accompanied by clips highlighting our tumultuous political climate. Produced by RLGN, shot by Terrence Smith and edited by Jasiri X, The Whitest House is the first release from his upcoming album, “The New Ni99a”.

A lyricist and activist, Jasiri X has never shied away from looking controversy in the eye and publicly calling out injustices where he sees them. The Whitest House speaks on behalf of those most impacted by this new administration. It is a dangerous time for people of color and the threat of white supremacy is rearing its head in America.

“It took me a long time to write authentically about this current political moment. I wanted to make a statement about the rise of White Supremacy from the White House on down and what it means and has meant historically for Black, Brown, and Indigenous people. When I saw Kanye wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, I felt it was time to tell the real truth about the treatment of oppressed people in this country” says Jasiri X.

As is all Jasiri X’s work, The Whitest House is intended to raise awareness, spark consciousness and challenge inequality. The Whitest House is now available on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play. To learn more about Jasiri X, visit his website.

I'm sick of peole complaining about Trump. He hasn't done anything that hasn't been done for 50 years. Stop crying about Trump and get focused on bettering yourself. As if "white supremacy" just started when he won. What did Ob
ama do to stop "white supremacy".
