(AllHipHop Music) Jamaica Queens native-turned-Atlanta resident, Jay Heat, has returned with a vengeance with his latest mixtape, 'The Biggest Story Ever', hosted by DJ Plugg.
He's carving out a sound of his own that pulls from both NYC and Atlanta influence, as he seeks to add a level of energy to the rap game that he feels is currently missing.
> "You know...motivational, get up and get it music. A lot of people sound depressed which I understand if that’s their story bout how long does that last, he says.
Jay Heat wants to give the energy that was given with Jeezy's first 'Trap Or Die' tape.
He embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and is always looking for different ways to make money as long as it fits in with his music and entertainment goals.
Despite his past of getting in trouble, he’s always maintained his love and passion for music.
In Sept 2018, he premiered his new single "Gametime" produced by TrenchlordB of the multi-platinum production duo NardNB on DJ Scream’s Hoodrich Radio on IHeart Media, and he's now released his debut mixtape, 'The Biggest Story Ever'.
Jay Heat revealed that it was "life" that inspired his new project.
> "If feels like my introduction. I found my way to tell my story. The ups and downs," said Jay Heat.
As far as influences, Jay was heavily influenced by the "Hustlaz".
> Not saying drug dealers or anything like that but Hustlaz...The Lifestyle, The constant grind, The doubts, the comebacks, the risks and rewards. When you make a way and they thought you couldn’t....it’s such a good feeling," he stated.
Based on creativity, following this project, Jay wouldn't mind getting in the studio with Young Thug and Metro Boomin'
