WHOAA - "Pink Starburst"

Duo WHOAA Gets Ellen Co-Sign and Drops "Pink Starburst"

After getting the co-sign from 80s funk group CAMEO saying WHOAA's, "sound is so juicy,” WHOAA shows their charisma on camera as the duo pays homage to all the great R&B, funk and pop groups of the past borrowing from their style and adding a new twist to the funk.

The song will be featured on the genre-bending duo's yet to be titled upcoming EP that features a special co-sign from legendary 80's artist Egyptian Lover and features additional live drums and percussion from OutKast’s Grammy Winning studio players Victor Alexander & Omar Phillip.

After recently being featured on Ellen DeGeneres’ ELLENTUBE with their video “Candy Love,” the self-described electro funk/pop duo, keeps their buzz going, dazzling their audience with the “Pink Starburst” visual.

"That affirmation with Ellen's ELLENTUBE has allowed us to be even more comfortable within ourselves. We aren't scared pushing the boundaries with our genre-defying music; we're mixing funk, pop, hip-hop, R&B and soul while throwing in a Rock N Roll edginess to it all," Ring said.

"We are paying respect to the greats before us and we're just trying to push the envelope, while staying true to our mission of spreading love aka W.H.O.A.A. (W.hen H.earts O.pen A.nd A.ttract)," Dolla explained.
