The rap star claims he had nothing to do with his bodyguard's decision to beat up a photographer.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper 2 Chainz is demanding a judge dismiss the battery lawsuit against him, insisting he didn't instruct a bodyguard to assault a photographer.

Richard Capak sued 2 Chainz and his bodyguard, Rory Smith after he was allegedly beaten up at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York last October.

Capak was hospitalized with a laceration to his head following the attack.

Smith was arrested and charged with assault and last week, he pled guilty to beating up Capak.

Now, 2 Chainz has filed documents, denying he did anything wrong.

He claims any injuries the photographer sustained were caused by third parties he had no control over, and he cannot be held liable for the actions of others.

The rapper is asking for the lawsuit to be dismissed.
