(AllHipHop News) 21 Savage is giving back in a major way.

The Slaughter Gang rapper has donated $25,000 to a civil rights group — one who called for his freedom after he was arrested by immigration officials back in February.

The news was announced by Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), indicating the nonprofit organization was one of many who advocated for his release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

They claimed the UK-born rapper was living illegally in the States.

21’s lawyer Charles Kuck explains the donation is meant to help others who are fighting their immigration cases.

He states, "21 Savage is making this donation public because every day Americans need to know that ICE is using civil immigration detention as a weapon against immigrants.”
