21 Savage Turns Himself In For Theft By Deception Over Botched Concert

The rap star is fighting some serious charges which could set back his argument to stay in the U.S.

(AllHipHop News) Rap star 21 Savage is fighting another serious charge, which could hinder his attempt to stay in the United States.

The rap star was just charged with theft by deception in Liberty County, Georgia.

21 is accused of stiffing a promoter out of $17,000 over allegations he kept a $9,500 advance and another $7,500 for a show he ended up canceling back in 2016.

The promoter of the event went to the cops back in 2016 and they issued a warrant for the rap star, which was never acted upon.

21 was released on his own recognizance and working with the promoter to settle the issue.

It's the latest legal setback for the rap star, who was detained by ICE on February 3.

Immigration officials charge the rapper with being a British national, who was living in the country illegally after his Visa expired in 2005.

21 Savage was finally released on February 13. He spoke out the ordeal earlier this morning during his first interview about his arrest.
