40 Glocc Wants Prostitution Sting Charges Dropped
(AllHipHop News) Rapper 40 Glocc wants a judge to dismiss charges he was slapped with following a prostitution sting in February.
The hip-hop star, real name Lawrence White, was spotted fleeing the scene during a police operation in Minnesota and was later arrested along with three other people.
He was subsequently charged with two counts of intentionally promoting the prostitution of an individual and another count of inducing an individual into prostitution and released on bail.
White is now asking for the charges to be dropped, claiming there is no evidence to prove he was working as a pimp, according to TMZ.com.
He claims the woman who got arrested denied he was her pimp and called him a travel companion who had "no involvement in her actions."
He also insists that the cops have no proof she was a prostitute as she could have just been offering the undercover police officer a naked massage or erotic dance, not sex.
White reportedly smashed multiple cell phones just before he was arrested, but he said that was hardly proof he was a pimp, alleging that if he did do that, there could have been plenty of innocent reasons why.
