Mayor Shirley Gibson welcomed the mixture of legendary performers, which includes the genres of Hip-Hop, Jazz and R&B.
"The 2012 line-up is absolutely incredible and I look forward to all the fans from around the nation joining us again," Miami Gardens Mayor Shirley Gibson said. "This signature Miami Gardens event brings added value to the City and to South Florida in general. I am proud of this City; in the eight years since incorporation, Miami Gardens has seen a steady stream of positive changes, improvements and additions like Jazz in the Gardens, which is more than a concert; it is an opportunity and experience that people want to enjoy year after year."
