6ix9ine Reportedly Causes Need For Extra Security At Made In America Festival

Do you think the precautions are necessary?

(AllHipHop News) Tekashi69 has spent the last year going in-and-out of court, trolling on Instagram, and feuding with multiple rappers. His hit list of targets has included Casanova, Trippie Redd, The Game, Chief Keef, YG, Pi'erre Bourne, Juice WRLD, Vic Mensa, and Ludacris.

The native New Yorker is set to perform at Jay-Z's Made In America Festival in Philadelphia. According to TMZ, a source in the Philly Mayor's Office claimed extra security is being brought in specifically for 6ix9ine's performance. Tekashi supposedly didn't request the excess protection, but the "Fefe" rapper travels with his own security detail.

Besides breaking onto the Billboard charts, 6ix9ine is also known for allegedly being involved in several violent incidents. He was reportedly connected to an April shooting at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, and he was present when gunfire rang out at 50 Cent's video shoot earlier this month.

Made In America is scheduled for September 1-2. Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Meek Mill, Miguel, Janelle Monáe, Alessia Cara, Daniel Caeser, Pusha T, Fat Joe, 6lack, and other artists are on the bill as well.
