6ix9ine Sent To Rikers Contagious Disease Unit Because His Life Is In Danger

6ix9ine will be spending a good amount of time alone as he awaits a hearing for beating up a 15-year-old.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Tekashi 6ix 9ine's lawyer is in fear for his client's life as he remains locked up behind bars for beating up a 15-year-old kid in Houston, Texas.

New York police arrested Tekashi earlier this week, as he returned to JFK International Airport, after his tour of Europe.

The cops arrested the rapper on the outstanding misdemeanor warrant issued out of Texas and threw him in jail until his court hearing on July 20.

A judge labeled the rap star a flight risk and remanded him to jail, despite pleas from the rap star and his lawyer, who claimed 6ix 9ine's life "was in great danger" while he is in jail

The rapper should be pretty safe while he is locked up and awaiting extradition to Houston.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was recently shipped to Rikers Island, where he has been placed in the Contagious Disease Unit in total isolation from other inmates, for his own protection.
