(AllHipHop News) Back in 2016, 6lack's debut studio album, Free 6lack, collected just 10,000 units to open at #68 on the Billboard 200. Two years later, the southern music maker debuts in the Top 3 on the chart.
2018's East Atlanta Love Letter pulled in 77,000 first-week equivalent album units. 6lack's sophomore effort landed at #3 which gives the LVRN representative his first Top 10 album.
Future, J. Cole, Offset, and Khalid contributed to East Atlanta Love Letter. Production for the LP was provided by Stwo, Yakob, Bizness Boi, Cardiak, T-Minus, DJDS, and others.
Meanwhile, Cry Petty by Carrie Underwood claimed the #1 slot with 266,000 first-week units. Eminem’s Kamikaze (#2), Drake’s Scorpion (#4), and Travis Scott’s Astroworld (#5) occupy the other Top 5 positions on this week's Billboard 200.
