9th Wonder To Be Inducted To N.C. Hall Of Fame

The honor is well-deserved for the legendary producer.

(AllHipHop News) 9th Wonder is about to be celebrated in a major way.

The legendary producer has been in the rap game for approximately 30 years, working with everyone from Jay-Z to Beyonce to Kendrick Lamar.

Now, the North Carolina native will be officially inducted into the North Carolina Hall of Fame.

Posting to his 427K followers on Instagram, 9th, real name Patrick Douthit, shared the exciting news by posting a screenshot of a news article sharing the news.

During his time at N.C. Central University, the 44-year-old was best known for producing hip-hop most of Little Brother’s catalog.

In an interview with the Winston-Salem Journal, he stated, “It means more to me that the culture is represented than that I’m being recognized. It’s something that can be recognized in our state history.”

The ceremony is slated to take place in October, during a class joined by Big Daddy Kane, Mitch Easter, Merle Watson, and Elizabeth Cotton.
