A$AP Bari Avoids Jail Time By Pleading Guilty To Drug Charge

No probation for the Harlemite.

(AllHipHop News) A$AP Mob founding member A$AP Bari will not have to go to jail in Pennsylvania for marijuana possession. The VLONE head born Jabari H. Shelton pled guilty to a single misdemeanor charge, according to TMZ.

Bari was ordered to pay a fine, but he will avoid serving time or being on probation. The 27-year-old Harlem native was originally charged with possession with intent to deliver drugs, conspiracy to possess drugs with the intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This latest non-jail plea deal in Northampton County comes after A$AP Bari pled guilty to one count of sexual assault in the United Kingdom in January. He reportedly agreed to pay the woman money along with complying to a restraining order.

Nike cut ties with Bari after the U.K. allegations made news in 2017. The sexual assault accusations emerged when alleged footage of Shelton slapping a woman on the buttocks after she could be heard telling him to stop.
