A$AP Ferg Shares His Thoughts On The Pusha T Vs Drake Battle

The New Yorker ties Nas into the clash.

(AllHipHop News) It looks like the Pusha T/Drake lyrical fight is over. After Rap-A-Lot Records founder and Drake backer J. Prince told Drizzy not to release his diss track for G.O.O.D. Music, most observers are ready to call the win for King Push.

However, the discussion about the contest is not over. Harlem emcee A$AP Ferg sat down with DJ Whoo Kid, and he was asked about the most talked about Hip Hop beef in years.

"I love that sh-t," said Ferg about rap battles. "I'm getting a feeling that when Nas said Hip Hop is dead, he was onto something. At first, we were like, 'You wildin'.' But he foreseen it. I think with a lot of stupid stuff or wack sh-t that's coming out we're losing the art of lyricism and just being able to be witty with words. What happened to that?"

The Still Striving album creator added, "Pusha and Drake, they just resurrected it. They sound like classy n-ggas going at it." A$AP Ferg also wants Drake to reply to Pusha T's "The Story of Adidon." He stated, "I think it should keep going. I like this a lot."
