A$AP Ferg To Livestream Free Virtual Reality Concert Via Oculus Venues

Find out how you can watch the Chicago show in a virtual stadium.

(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop artists have embraced computer technology to find new ways to create an immersive experience for their supporters.

A deceased 2Pac performed at the 2012 Coachella Festival as a hologram, Run The Jewels released a virtual reality music video, and Childish Gambino presented a VR performance on his PHAROS Earth app.

A$AP Ferg is now delving into a simulated 3-D environment. The Harlem emcee is livestreaming his upcoming July 17 concert in conjunction with Oculus Venues, NextVR, and Live Nation.

By using an Oculus Go or Gear VR headset and the Oculus Venues app, Ferg fans from around the world will be transported to a virtual stadium with hundreds of other people.

Oculus Venues is also hosting upcoming virtual reality events such as Gotham Comedy Live, International Champions Cup: Manchester United v AC Milan, and Lionsgate Presents: Reservoir Dogs.

A$AP Ferg's "Mad Man Tour" stop at the House of Blues in Chicago will begin streaming at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT. Subscribe to attend the event by visiting oculus.com.
