A$AP Rocky Arrested In Sweden For Suspected Assault

The "F*ckin' Problems" emcee was in the European country to perform at the Smash Festival.

(AllHipHop News) According to multiple reports, A$AP Rocky (born Rakim Mayers) was taken into custody in Stockholm, Sweden for suspected assault. Swedish police arrested the Harlem-raised rapper and three other individuals late Tuesday. It's not clear how the four people are related.

Over the weekend, a video of A$AP Rocky and members of his entourage allegedly engaged in a violent encounter began spreading across the internet. Rocky then posted his own Instagram video related to the incident.

"So a few drug addicts are not my fans. We don't know these guys and we didn't want trouble, they followed us for 4 blocks, and they were slapping girls butts who passed, give me a break," wrote Rocky in the caption for the clip.

The A$AP Mob member also uploaded another IG video which appeared to show his security guard asking two men to walk in the opposite direction from their group. One of the men apparently hit the bodyguard with a set of headphones. At one point, Rocky can be heard calmly telling the men, "We don't wanna fight y'all. We're not trying to go to jail."
