A$AP Rocky Encourages Baltimore Students With A Cypher

A$AP Rocky dropped in on students in Baltimore, to encourage them to be successful in their careers.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper A$AP Rocky recently visited students at a community center in Baltimore.

A$AP Rocky dropped in at the UA House at Fayette in East Baltimore earlier this week, where he hung out with students in the after-school program's music lab.

A$AP Rocky was there to inspire pupils who are into music art and fashion.

“I grew up in Harlem and had limited resources to channel my inner creativity, so I spent too much time on the streets when I should have been more productive," A$AP Rocky said. "I now have the ability to create a better situation for today’s kids so they can go from school to a safe place to create without boundaries. Under Armour was the company that was most excited about my idea to turn sportswear products on their head while bettering kids’ lives.”

The Harlem-bred rapper encouraged students amidst a turbulent period of time for Baltimore's hip-hop community.

In June of 2016, rising rapper Lor Scoota was gunned down. The DMV area has also lost rappers like 30 Glizzy, Swipey and OGManMan since 2016.

So, the students seemed genuinely thrilled when A$AP Rocky led them impromptu group cypher.

These schools are dangerous places with the things they teach..

Teaching kids how to rap is something we need..
