A$AP Rocky Faces $100K Lawsuit From NYC Landlord For Property Damages
(AllHipHop News) Harlem's own A$AP Rocky now has a lawsuit on his hands, as he is being sued by a New York landlord for $100,000 due to damages he left at his apartment residence.
TMZ reports that Rocky destroyed a custom walk-in wardrobe to turn it into a recording room, removed a custom chandelier and security camera, and also left scratches and stains throughout the property.
The rapper reportedly informed the landlord that he was making some alterations to the residence and would have it restored before his lease ended.
However, the landlord claims that Rocky failed to follow-up on his promise, with the MC leaving the apartment damaged and filthy when he left the premises in August.
The landlord is suing for $100K in punitive damages to repair the unit back to its suitable state.
