A$AP Rocky Reportedly Will Not Take The Stand For His Assault Trial In Sweden

The alleged victim claimed he thought he was going to die from the onslaught.

(AllHipHop News) According to a new report, A$AP Rocky will not testify in his current assault trial in Sweden. Instead, the New York City-raised rapper's legal team will apparently rely on video to tell his side of the story.

Rocky was arrested in the European nation on July 3 following a street fight on June 30. The Testing album creator insisted he and his entourage were acting in self-defense when they engaged in a violent incident with Mustafa Jafari.

Prosecutors claim the three co-defendants attacked Jafari, including striking the 19-year-old man with a broken bottle. Rocky's lawyer said his client wasn't aware shards of glass were on the bottom of his shoe.

Rocky pleaded not guilty in the case. If convicted, he could face two years in prison, but the prosecution is not expected to seek the maximum sentence.
